Kyosho is a Japanese company that manufactures its models in diecast, although it is equally well known for its radio controlled products. In diecast, it concentrates on 1:18 scale replicas, but it also makes 1:43 and 1:12 cars. Kyosho is happy producing both modern and classic subjects, especially British ones: it has replicated cars for Mini, Aston Martin, Rolls-Royce, Bentley and Triumph. For European cars, it has released models for the likes of Lamborghini, Lancia, Porsche, BMW and De Tomaso. Kyosho’s 1:18 replicas always used to feature opening parts, but they now also produce sealed bodyshell models in order to contain costs. Its models are consistently of a very high quality.
